African Beignets is a culturally rooted food brand centered around Yatab Mandazi, a traditional African delicacy often shared during family gatherings and celebrations. The brand’s mission is grounded in togetherness—bringing families to the table through food, education, and love.

The Challenge
The brand needed a visual identity that could authentically represent African culture while appealing to a broad customer base within a major retail environment. As a product carried in H-E-B stores across Dallas, the identity had to balance warmth and tradition with clarity, shelf impact, and scalability.
The challenge was to create a brand that felt welcoming and educational without losing the richness of its cultural roots.
The Solution
We developed a brand identity inspired by family, tradition, and shared experience. The visual system reflects the warmth and communal nature of African Beignets while remaining clean and approachable for retail.
