“Wednesday” Experiential Event | Exploratory Concept & Pitch

Overview

Inspired by Netflix’s hit series Wednesday and its connection to the iconic Addams Family, CK Creative developed an exploratory experiential concept for a live fan-focused event. The work was created as a speculative pitch to demonstrate how the Wednesday universe could translate into an immersive, real-world experience.

The concept was designed to explore the potential of a global live activation that would celebrate fandom, nostalgia, and storytelling beyond the screen.


The Challenge

Wednesday quickly became a cultural phenomenon with a highly engaged fan base. The challenge was to imagine how Netflix could extend the series’ dark, playful tone into a live environment that felt cinematic, immersive, and worthy of its audience—while also being flexible enough to scale globally.

The concept needed to balance nostalgia from The Addams Family with the modern identity of Wednesday, appealing to longtime fans and new audiences alike.


The Solution

We developed an exploratory experiential framework focused on world-building, atmosphere, and fan immersion. The pitch outlined a build-out strategy for a memorable night designed specifically for Wednesday fans—leaning into contrast, theatrical environments, and interactive moments.

The concept explored how set design, lighting, graphics, and programming could work together to create an entertaining, shareable experience that extended the show’s universe into a live setting.


The Outcome

The exploratory pitch demonstrated a clear creative direction for how Wednesday could live beyond the screen through experiential storytelling. While the concept was not executed, it served as a strategic and creative exercise showcasing CK Creative’s approach to entertainment-focused world-building, fan engagement, and live experience design.
